Managing Multiple Brands

If you run multiple businesses, work with multiple clients, or have distinct product lines that require separate brand identities, you can create and manage multiple Brand Brains within a single Pono account.

Creating a Second Brand Brain

  1. Go to Brand Brains in the navigation.
  2. Tap + New Brand Brain.
  3. Complete the setup wizard for the new brand. See Creating a Brand Brain.

Switching Between Brands

The active brand context determines which Brand Brain the AI uses for all outputs.

On desktop: Use the brand selector dropdown at the top of the sidebar to switch brands.

On mobile: Tap the active brand name at the top of the screen to open the brand switcher.

All documents, tasks, roadmaps, and content are organized per brand, so switching brands also updates the dashboard view to show only that brand's content.

Organizing Content Per Brand

Each Brand Brain has its own:

  • Document library
  • Folders
  • Task boards and projects
  • Roadmaps
  • Content calendar
  • Growth plans

When you switch the active brand, you see only that brand's content. This keeps client work or separate business lines cleanly separated.

Renaming or Deleting a Brand Brain

To rename a Brand Brain:

  1. Open the Brand Brain you want to rename.
  2. Tap Edit Brand Brain.
  3. Update the Brand Name field and tap Save.

To delete a Brand Brain, contact support. Deletion is permanent and removes all associated documents and content.

Tips for Agencies

  • Create one Brand Brain per client.
  • Use client-specific team members with access limited to their brand. See Roles & Permissions.
  • Ensure each Brand Brain is fully completed before generating client deliverables — the quality of AI output depends on it.
