Exporting Documents (PDF)

You can export any Pono document as a PDF for sharing with clients, stakeholders, or for printing.

Export a Document as PDF

  1. Open the document you want to export.
  2. Tap the ... (more options) menu in the top right corner.
  3. Select Export as PDF.
  4. The PDF will be generated and downloaded to your device (or opened in a share sheet on mobile).

What the Export Includes

The exported PDF preserves:

  • All text content and formatting
  • Headings, bullet points, and numbered lists
  • Bold, italic, and other inline formatting

The PDF uses a clean, professional layout suitable for sharing.

Sharing After Export

On mobile, after export you can:

  • Share directly via email, messaging apps, or cloud storage using the native share sheet
  • Save to your device's file system

On desktop/web, the PDF is downloaded to your default downloads folder.

Tips

  • Review the document fully before exporting — once exported, the PDF is a static snapshot and will not update if you edit the document.
  • Use clear, descriptive document titles — the title becomes the PDF filename.
  • If the document is long, scroll through the preview before exporting to check formatting.
