Archiving & Restoring Documents

Archiving lets you remove documents from your active library without permanently deleting them. Archived documents are preserved and can be restored whenever you need them.

Archiving a Document

  1. In your document list, tap the ... (more options) menu on the document.
  2. Select Archive.
  3. The document will move to your Archives and disappear from the main library.

You can also archive a document from within the editor using the document options menu (top right).

Viewing Archived Documents

  1. Go to Documents in the navigation.
  2. Tap Archives (or the archive icon).
  3. Browse your list of archived documents.

Restoring an Archived Document

  1. Open Archives.
  2. Tap the ... menu on the document you want to restore.
  3. Select Restore.
  4. The document will return to your main document library.

Permanently Deleting a Document

From the Archives view:

  1. Tap the ... menu on the document.
  2. Select Delete Permanently.
  3. Confirm the deletion.

Warning: Permanent deletion cannot be undone. Only delete documents you are certain you no longer need.

When to Archive vs. Delete

Finished project, may need it later Archive
