Archiving & Restoring Documents
Archiving lets you remove documents from your active library without permanently deleting them. Archived documents are preserved and can be restored whenever you need them.
Archiving a Document
- In your document list, tap the ... (more options) menu on the document.
- Select Archive.
- The document will move to your Archives and disappear from the main library.
You can also archive a document from within the editor using the document options menu (top right).
Viewing Archived Documents
- Go to Documents in the navigation.
- Tap Archives (or the archive icon).
- Browse your list of archived documents.
Restoring an Archived Document
- Open Archives.
- Tap the ... menu on the document you want to restore.
- Select Restore.
- The document will return to your main document library.
Permanently Deleting a Document
From the Archives view:
- Tap the ... menu on the document.
- Select Delete Permanently.
- Confirm the deletion.
Warning: Permanent deletion cannot be undone. Only delete documents you are certain you no longer need.
When to Archive vs. Delete
