Subscription & Plans

Your Pono subscription determines which features you can access, how many team members you can invite, and how many AI-generated documents you can create.

Viewing Your Current Plan

  1. Go to Settings > Subscription (or tap Plans in the navigation).
  2. Your current plan and its details will be displayed, including:
    • Plan name
    • Renewal date
    • Included features and limits
    • Current usage

Available Plans

Pono offers multiple plans to fit different team sizes and needs. Visit the Plans page in the app for current pricing and feature comparisons.

Typical plan tiers include:

Tier Best For
Free / Trial Exploring Pono before committing
Starter Solo operators and freelancers
Growth Small teams with active content and planning needs
Pro / Business Agencies and larger teams managing multiple brands

Upgrading Your Plan

  1. Go to Settings > Subscription or tap Plans.
  2. Select the plan you want to upgrade to.
  3. Review the features and price.
  4. Tap Upgrade and complete the payment process.

Upgrades take effect immediately.

Downgrading Your Plan

  1. Go to Settings > Subscription.
  2. Tap Change Plan.
  3. Select the lower-tier plan.
  4. Confirm the downgrade.

Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain your current features until then.

Document Credits and Tokens

Some plans include a set number of AI document credits per month. You can view your remaining credits in Settings > Subscription.

If you need more documents beyond your plan's limit, tap Buy More to purchase additional document bundles.

Promo Codes

If you have a promo code:

  1. Go to Settings > Subscription or the Plans page.
  2. Tap Enter Promo Code.
  3. Enter your code and tap Apply.

Billing and Receipts

Pono uses Stripe for secure payment processing. To view billing history or update your payment method:

  1. Go to Settings > Subscription.
  2. Tap Manage Billing.
  3. You will be taken to the secure billing portal where you can view invoices and update your card.
