Notification Preferences
Pono can send you notifications about team activity, task updates, and platform announcements. You control what you receive and how.
Accessing Notification Settings
- Desktop: Go to Settings > Notifications.
- Mobile: Tap the menu icon, then tap Notification Settings.
Notification Types
| Notification | Description |

| Task assignments | When a team member assigns a task to you |
| Task due dates | Reminders before a task is due |
| Document comments | When someone comments on a document you're involved with |
| Team activity | When team members complete key actions |
| Product updates | New features and updates from Pono |
| Billing alerts | Subscription renewal reminders and payment notices |
Turning Notifications On or Off
- Go to your Notification Settings.
- Toggle each notification type on or off using the switch next to it.
- Settings save automatically.
Push Notifications (Mobile)
On mobile, you can enable push notifications so Pono alerts you even when the app is not open.
- Go to Notification Settings.
- Tap Enable Push Notifications.
- Your device will prompt you to allow Pono to send notifications — tap Allow.
To disable push notifications, toggle off Enable Push Notifications in the app, or go to your device's system settings and manage Pono's notification permissions there.
Email Notifications
Some notifications are also sent by email. You can disable email notifications individually for each type in your Notification Settings.
