Managing Roadmap Sections
Sections are the organizational backbone of your roadmap. They group related initiatives together, making the roadmap easy to scan and present.
Adding a Section
- Open a roadmap.
- Tap + Add Section at the bottom of the roadmap or between existing sections.
- Enter a section name.
- Tap Save.
Renaming a Section
- Tap the section header.
- Edit the title inline.
- Tap outside the field or press Enter to save.
Collapsing and Expanding Sections
Tap the arrow icon (or section header) to collapse or expand a section. Collapsing sections is useful when presenting a high-level view or navigating large roadmaps.
Reordering Sections
Press and hold the section header, then drag it to the new position.
Deleting a Section
- Tap the ... menu on the section header.
- Select Delete Section.
- Confirm.
Note: Deleting a section will also delete all items within it. This action cannot be undone.
Managing Items Within a Section

| Mark as complete | Tap the status indicator on the item |
Section Best Practices
- Use sections to represent functional areas (Marketing, Sales, Engineering) or strategic themes (Awareness, Conversion, Retention).
- Keep section names short — 1–3 words is ideal for readability.
- Aim for 3–7 items per section. More than that and the roadmap becomes overwhelming.
